My baby girl loved it. She discovered monkeys and has been obsessed with them. When I saw this I had to have it. It is the right size for her to carry her own things and fits her perfect. She is 3 and she is in love with it. She wants to carry it everywhere and we do. The mouth is a functional pocket as well. Lots of room, she spends time with grandma during the day so I put a change of clothing, some snacks and her favorite book in it and it all fits just fine. Great quality, zippers slide nicely and it is durable, adjustable straps.. I just bought her a monkey shaped suitcase, pairs nicely with the backpack. Great price.

This is a pretty standard backpack - 2 areas to put stuff, one main zipper and one small zipper in the front. The outer material is a soft fuzzy material and the inner lining is like a nylon. All in all, very well constructed, good zippers. My son likes using it for putting his balls and various rocks he finds on his walks. It fits him well - he is 19 months, and fairly small.
